The stream started with some quick chichat regarding the previous "live" stream (it was prerecorded) covering the Karen Unison Style with Serizawa Yu.

Next we had the usual intro for those unfamiliar with the game, read by Amami.

KakinumaP announced they're doing new meet the devs events. Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya. Will have Kakinuma and Shimoda. Free to attend but there's a 30 person limit on each one. You can enter the registration lottery till aug 25.

Reminder that the She is Legend Hebuban x Togetoge Girls Band Cry collab concert can be viewed online till August 31. KakinumaP noted this has exclusive backstage footage.

New info on the U-Treasure jewelry collab announced during the 3.5 anniversary stream. They had samples on set too. There's a ring necklace for each of the 31A chara, and a memory necklace for 31B's Erika. Amami and Maekawa tried to show the engravings on the rings and necklace but it was really hard to spot lol. Maekawa showcased the Yukki version and Amami had the Tsukasacchi version. You have the character's name on the front and their Seraphim Code on the backside of the ring. They showed the Aoi 31B necklace too.

Quick chit chat about Hebuban's booth at Comiket and the cosplayers they hired. KakinumaP was there for a little bit too.

Starting today some of the merch that was sold at C106 will be sold on the Wright Flyer Studios online store.

Seiyuu: Megumin's pose is super cute, also you don't see her often like this, raising both arms. It's pretty rare to see Tsukasacchi with such a sports style too. Also Yukki's armpits (they made a YUKKI NO WAKKI pun in Japanese).

Seiyuu: This pic is really cute and cool. And you can feel the trust and the relationship between the two as they leave their backs to each other.

Maekawa: The commander is so big it's like she's watching over you as you sing lol.

Maekawa: loool why are you suddenly getting so excited looool. But yeah when you think of Aichin you think of the sea and marine creatures. Her previous Style was like if she became a mermaid, but this time it's like SPLASH!!! She's so cute.

Amami: Also the huge frills, it really feels Aina-like

The reactions in chat were pretty funny too. And yeah since it's a Resonance style and the whole Resonance thing sucks, some people were rightfully complaining.

Satsuki Mari SS Maou ni Tsukaeshi Konton no Strategist

KakinumaP noted 謀臣 is read as Strategist. And also noted this is a regular SS, not an SS Resonance. This is another one of the Yamawaki's minions 31C Styles. The only 31C member without one now is Aldehyde.

Seiyuu reaction starting 40:04 with Maekawa hilariously imitating Mari's "your worth is 0 Yen" line, doing an heart pose and then going kyaaaa.

Maekawa: This feels really different from her past Styles. Usually she's smiling and goes like "I'm gonna beat you up ^^", it's rare that she actually uses a coldhearted voice like that. The gap from her usual self is so good

Amami: And woah look at how TIGHT her suit actually is

Maekawa: Looking closer, yeah this is a really TIGHT TIGHT suit. Also look at that Y shape. This is totally one of those evil female general costumes

Amami: I can only imagine what sorts of tasks she's doing for the demon lord she's serving

Maekawa: Her eyes are different from usual too

Amami: But I'm sure lot of players wanna be looked down on like that looool

Maekawa: They did a really good job with the angle

Amami: Yeah it totally feels like she's looking down on you

Maekawa: The devs really get it

Amami: And the way she's curving too Amami does her usual drool-reeling-in SFX. Definitely didn't expect this after the swimsuit summer Style.

Maekawa: Yeah this might be the biggest temperature flip ever between the two Styles of a same banner lol. We gonna catch a cold loooool.

(Additional context below if you need it. I wish I could just link my posts covering the July and August streams where the SS Resonance Styles/Memorias were first announced, but I haven't finished them yet.

In July they announced a new rarity, SS Resonance, which has the same drop rate as SS and is on the same banners but is considerably stronger since they can get unique bonuses when equipping specific SS Styles as Support. All the Unison Styles released so far, Nanamin's unique SS Rider Style, and the SS Styles of the squad leaders with the outfits from the 3rd anniversary key visual, were converted to SS Resonance. Thankfully they still use SS Omnicoins for Limit Break, or else that would have been one of the biggest scams in sociage history.

Following the backlash from players, they announced that except for Aoi SS Resonance swimsuit which is already using SS Resonance Omnicoins, all SS Resonance Styles released till the end of 2025 will still use the regular SS Omnicoins. And they introduced the new battle season system, where we can get 4 SS Resonance Omnicoins each Season. It seems each Season will last 3 months, so in 9 months you can get enough coins to Limit Break a single SS Resonance Style for free. The whole situation sucks but it's sadly how a lot of sociage works so I made my peace with it personally.)

Skills and Abilities

Kirakira Summer he, Jump In! - EX Skill: Rainbow Miracle Slider, 16 SP. Decreases an enemy's defense and thunder defense for two turns. 8 Hits. Costs 0 SP and has increased Devastation when an enemy in Down Turn is present.

Other skill - Natsuiro High Tension, 7 SP: Sacrifices the DP of a single selectable ally to increase the Overdrive Gauge by 25%. Increases the OD Gauge by another 25% if this is your first time using the skill in this battle. Cannot be used when an ally is in Break state. (The DP amount sacrified is like 95%, you're left with barely nothing).

LB0 ability: +25% to Defense Down effects casted by Aina if there's an enemy in Down Turn when executing commands.

LB1: +1 SP per turn if on front row, the usual.

LB3: +50% Devastation rate when using Skills if if there's an enemy in Down Turn when executing commands.

Overall it's a really good Style if you don't already have a Lightning Blaster or/and Debuffer, it does both.

Maou ni Tsukaeshi Konton no Strategist - EX Skill: Domination Gravity, 10 SP. Decrease one enemy's Defense (infinite turns) and puts them in Vulnerable state (1 turn). This is a pure debuff Skill, it doesn't deal damage. Has additional cumulative effects depending on how many times you used the EX Skill in the same battle:

2 times: Casts a Defense Down (1 turn) on the enemy
3 times: SP cost halved
4 times and beyond: The Defense Down (1 turn) and Vulnerable state (1 turn) casted on the enemy now last for 2 turns instead of 1.

Other skill - Bouryaku, 6 SP: Grants an Additional Turn to yourself and to the other allies in the Front Row. Cannot be used on an Additional Turn (obviously or else you could get infinite turns if you have ton of SP)

LB0 ability: Puts yourself in Yamawaki's Minion state at the start of the battle

LB1: +1 SP per turn if on front row, the usual.

LB3: +30% to debuff effects cast by oneself when using a Skill that costs 8 SP or less

This is also the first SS Style with a new Resonance Support ability ever since the Support system was introduced:

+40,48,56,64,70% damage to Skills depending on the LB level. Note that she has no element, so only non elemental Resonance Styles can equip her. Crab Loli's Unison Style for example. But yeah this is extremely strong even at LB0.

Amami: And oh it's not a hood but more like a beret.

Maekawa: She looks so proper compared to the illustration loool. Also woah her boots. Also we gotta do our usual denier detective work. Her tights look pretty thin so I think it's 40 or 50.

Amami: Lately you also have "fake tights" so maybe these are like that.

Maekawa: Also woah I didn't notice that small opening on her side (Gestures)

Amami: It's a high defense outfit but still has some openings here and there.

Maekawa: Woah so cute.

Schedule for the rest of the current Battle Season.

Rewards. KakinumaP reminded us regarding the new Relic Orbs (+1000 DP) equips you can buy with Season Medals. These will change with each season so make sure to aim for your favorite characters' Orbs.

Megumin swimsuit event will be the next pickup event, with 3x medals drop and IV, V difficulty added.

The changes to the Premium and Light Passes announced a few weeks ago will go into effect in September.

New Styles' Home Screen voice lines

Usually they only showcase 2 lines as sample. If they get a repeat or one of the basic SS Style's line, they retry til they get a new one.

Aina at 1:06:36. The first line is Aina yawning and saying she's not sleepy, and then falling asleep. Hilarious moment with Amami acting like she's her mom and carrying Aina on her back.

Mari at 1:08:18. One of the lines is really funny with Maria selling Maou army merch. Another line is like "I also accept annihilation preorders ^^". They played a few more lines than usual to see the changes in her voice. And last line they get, she's like "this outfit is really embarrassing but if it makes everyone happy..."

Stage Play Talk

The stream would have usually ended there, but they announced a surprise segment to talk about the Stage Play adaptation, with Wright Flyer Studios producer Inoue joining the set. People in the chat called him "a rare drop" lol.

InoueP explained he already appeared in a past stream a few years ago to introduce merch. He's the producer of the stage play. Usually his job is making the link between the development teams at WFS and Key and overseeing the development's progress. He also supervised the production of the official artwork volume 1 book and some merch like the Megumin cap.

Maekawa noting that people in chat are joking about how Hebuban producers are forced to only ever wear t-shirts.

KakinumaP praised InoueP a lot, saying he's been in the team since before the game released. He was kind of his support at first but got to handle more and more tasks as he's very reliable and he's a irreplaceable part of the team now. Inoue himself is the one who proposed making a stage play adaptation so he got put in charge of the project. Inoue + Office Endless, the studio producing the stage play, are doing their best to make sure fans will enjoy it. (lotof PR sugarcoating but it felt pretty genuine).

InoueP explained that since this is the main visual and the first one they revealed, the team spent a ton of time working on it.

InoueP confirmed Byakko will be in the Stage Play

Maekawa asked him about Byakko since she's her favorite character with Mion. They didn't show her yet so we don't know if she'll be a big kigurimi or an actress in a suit or something else.

InoueP also confirmed the stage play will cover up to Main Story Chapter 2.

Producer Inoue noted that Ruka's actress Yuina and Higumin's actress Hayashi Coco are also seiyuu. (I know Hayashi Coco for voicing Mirai the protagonist of Kiratto PriChan from 2018 to 2021. I think it was her first major role. I barely watch any ongoing anime since 2016 so I didn't see much of her other series yet. And I still haven't watched PriChan past half of s1. Would be nice if I can watch it all one day incha Allah).

InoueP also explained Office Endless are the ones who made the Lycoris Recoil stage play (the only thing I know about this is that they obviously didn't get a black actor to play Mika). Kawaguchi Misato who plays Erika, and Motonishi Sakiho who play Nanamin, were also in the Lycoris Recoil stage play.

Screenplay is handled by a certain Nishida san. Megumin's seiyuu Inami Anju already worked with them and noted back in the 3.5 anniversary stream when the stage play was first announced that they're really good. (Inami is also a stage play actress and a member of Love Live on top of being a seiyuu)

Stage Play schedule and tickets. It's lottery as usual with all event in Japan but they most notably made some preorders available via in-game so players have higher chances.

Buying any of the tickets also gets you a serial code to get 10 Omnicoins and one SS Style randomly, picked from SS Styles of characters who appear in the stage play: meaning 31A, Yamawaki, Crab Loli, and 31C. You can only redeem a single code per account.

They started showing interviews of the stage play cast on the shinjuku unica vision big screen. Monthly Lawson Magazine sold in Lawson, Ministop, HMV shops around Japan will also have an interview with Ruka's actress Yuina and Erika's actress Kawaguchi Misato.

Kakinuma forgot to explain earlier that starting the next Score Attack, if the Score Attack boss is one of those bosses with a low destruction rate limit (like 300% instead of the usual 900%) the score calculation formula for "highest damage dealt in a single turn" will adapt itself in consequence. This way you won't be penalized.

Amami ending comments: Hebuban's summer keeps going and going lol. We got a ton of swimsuit characters this year. I hope you'll try and get Aina's and Mari's new Styles. Personally I'm still trying to get Unison Karen.....

We also want to keep listening to feedback and I discussed with Shimoda and other team members regarding how we didn't have many occasions to talk with the players lately. That's why we announced the meet the devs events. The events all happen quite close to each other and it's a tight schedule but I hope we will be able to discuss the game with you in detail and strive to improve the game.

Seiyuu are also part of the people getting exploited by the current game industry and sociage, and the idol seiyuu industry sucks, is mentally taxing, etc)
