i wonder when the gaming world won't be White anymore

I'm not looking forward to it as much as REAL REALER REALEST issues such as governments and politicians and company CEOs getting what they deserve and Palestine but I'm still very interested.

By gaming world I mean games media, game industry, streamers, etc. Anyone talking about games, making games, and playing games. It's much harder to do any of these when USA! USA! USA! is bombing you directly or indirectly. That's the extreme example, but as a whole, the current switch with everyone being independent and being financed by subscriptions is a good thing in theory, but as of now it only favors those who were already established for decades. And they're overwhelmingly white.

I wrote a very long unpublished unedited post over two years ago about all this. Maybe I'll publish it in the next few weeks insha Allah. I'll probably censor it and put a slightly uncensored version for tier 2 ko-fi subs only. In the meanwhile I already shared some tidbits here and there.

But yeah TLDR at this rate one day the gaming world will one hundred percent be only for the privileged and white. Not only newer releases, but older games as well. Because you could just say "I'm gonna play old games via emulation so I don't care about new releases" but seeing the current wave of copyrights, censorship, and trying to silence solidarity and humanity, politicians and companies can start going on about emulation any day now and launch a full-scale attack on that too. But well no use worrying about something that hasn't happened yet. We 'll see insha Allah.
