What If We Get An Anime For The Heaven Burns Red 4th Anniversary
Really curious regarding what kind of announcements the Hebuban 4th anniversary event will have.
Last year, on one of the live streams before the anniversary event, i think it was like 2 weeks before, they released a short teaser video. It had three short clips each with a dialogue quote and the numbers 1,2,3. They were teasing three things:
1- The release of Suppression Mission part 3 & Nanamin becoming playable (In the EN version they released her with Part 1 just a few weeks ago. I don't know why.)
2- The release of a brand new event, "What Would She Say If I Told Her She's My One and Only Light?". It features a what if story where Yuina joined 31A in Main Story Chapter 1 (This is about to release in English on February 6, 2026).
3- The release of Main Story Chapter 5 Arc 2 Part 2 (this was already announced together with Part 1).
A lot of other stuff was announced too, like the 3rd anniversary Key Visual with the 8 captains, teasing their new Styles. The Erika one was just released on January 16, so they're all out now.We also got a ton of new merch and IRL collabs announcements.
Meanwhile, this year they haven't teased anything for the 4th anniversary. They simply said that a new event will be revealed, and that it'll be a follow-up to Main Story Chapter 5 Arc 3 that was released on December 26,2025. Meaning you need to have finished Chapter 5 Arc 3 in order to unlock the event. This was announced on the short, pre-recorded announcement showcase released on December 30, 2025.
Because they kept everything under wraps, I'm starting to hope they have a massive announcement planned.
I didn't have the time to write summary articles for most of the 2025 Heaven Burns Red live streams yet. So I barely got to talk about the Stage Play adaptation. But now that they're past this milestone, I assume it's only a matter of time till an anime adaptation is announced. Maybe that's what the big 4th anniversary announcement will be.
If they do an anime, I am certain it will feature a different story and characters than in the game. They might focus on a Seraph Squadron base in another country, or set the story in the past, something like that.
Anyway, the 4th anniversary live stream event is happening on February 1st at 19:00 JST. I still haven't finished Main Story Chapter 5 so I'll have to skip the part where they'll introduce the new Event to avoid getting spoiled.
I wanna try watching and covering the 4th anniversary stream live, or else I'll never catch up on these summaries of mine lol. There are some very important live stream that happened in 2025 for the game's history that I wanna cover.
