what was the anime-styled commercial mainstream game with the most black main characters released in 2025?
I assume Pokemon right? Tons of black NPCs and black side characters too. Pretty good chara designs too most notably the purple drills 戦闘狂 (battle maniac) black ojousama lady. Really good character. The ultra annoying otaku part of my brain who secretly doesn't like it when people like characters without even playing their game and who recently regularly complains internally about people's portrayal of Hiro from Gakumas as "just an anorexic loli who faints lol" really hates me because I'm never playing Z-A myself.
No other game came close from what I've seen. Haven't played many 2025 released games yet (Dolls Nest, GiLGuL, Machine Child, and a few others) but yeah pretty sure of myself. Let me know in the comments if you've got some other examples.

I need to finish my Japanese article about chara design before the end of January 2026 insha Allah. I pitched an English version many times now but to no avail, never getting answers. Still not giving up though.
